Whom would our team like to write the letter to? It is difficult question for us. We know many interesting people in the world and we would like to communicate with all of them. But our team should choose only one person.

We would like to write a letter to Margaret Thatcher!( she was the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1979–1990).) Margaret Thatcher is known to be the greatest living Englishwoman.
We like this woman very much, because she is the iron Lady. Margaret Thatcher was the most imperious woman in the world during ten years.
Margaret Thatcher was strong, but fair, obstinate, but ambitious, imperturbable and cool. Thatcher devoted all her life of purposefulness and struggle Thatcher before leadership in the English Tory party (conservatives), and its purposefulness and ambition have allowed to remain in power longer, than to any other British leader of the twentieth century. Thatcher used the legislation and has achieved more, than three predecessors had taken together. The lady Thatcher (it "has been devoted in knights" in 1993) has left an indelible trace in the history of the country and has affected a mentality of all British society.


Our team respect these character, so we would like to write a letter to Margaret Thatcher.

Dear participants!

You are welcomed by a command from Kaluga. As we understand we are not the only team from Kaluga. And it pleases a lot!!!

Our team consists of 4 persons: Lena, Ilya and Sasha or simply L.I.S
To begin with I would like to tell you about a man's part of our command.They are Ilya and Sasha- two remarkable, careful and kind persons. They are absolutely different, but at the same time they are ideally in harmony with each other. I like to spend with them time very much.

At first I will tell you about Ilya. First of all, he is really a reliable friend. Ilya will help in a difficult minute and will never betray( as well as Sasha, and I have checked it up this summer when we went as a part of a group on competition to the seaside). Ilya loves psychological films, he is fond of music - he has finished a music school. Now he learns to play an electroguitar. As far as I know Ilya likes this occupation very much. Also he is fond of psychology and knows English language well enough. He is very clever and reads a lot.

The other member of our team is Sasha. He is very friendly and open person. He has a very kind soul. He dances professionally. I wish you would see him on a scene! He is about 192 cm heiht, but very mobile and rhythmical. And what extension he has!!! He is anexcellent actor! Every his performance is the whole theater! If he allows, I will download at a forum video with his dances. And one more thing- Sasha brings success! (We hope it will help us on this contest )

We all have pets. I have got a rabbit, Sasha has got a dog and a cat, Ilya- a dog and a cat too. You can find a photo of a dog and Ilya's cat at last year's competition. Though the cat was absolutely small with pink pads and pink nouse. And now it is the whole tiger!


It is interesting to know, what boys will write about me?


As for me I can tell about myself the following: I can sing rather well, I love foreign languages and I am going to connect with them the future profession.

I am Uetova Katya. I am fifteen. I am in the 9 form. I have been learning English for 3 years.
What can I say about myself? I like music so much. I can play the guitar, the domra and the piano. I finished music school two years ago, and now I play the rhythm guitar in symphony orchestra and jazz band. I like English classical literature and fantasy. I like exact sciences and languages. I didn’t know to whom to write and decided to write you.

It could be mail or Vkontakte or skype, as you want. But we should like to write peper letters too. Have you ever written usual paper letters? It must be interesting.

My name is Zadorozhnaya Ann, I’m from Russia and I've always wanted to talk to a foreigner. In my life, unlike in yours, there were not so much really interesting events. I don't know even what to tell you.

I learned about you from the book. I would like to talk to you about a world where you are living now and about your life in the Middle-Earth, about the events that have occurred to you while on your mission and about the One Ring ... Please tell me about yourself.

I would like to ask you some questions, okay?

Frodo, I've always wanted to know why you agreed to carry the ring? Have you ever regreedt of you decision? I mean that it has changed your life greatly. May be you think that it would be better to live a normal hobbit's life, and not to mess with all sorts of rings, magicians and other strange things.

What did you feel when you were carrying a ring? Were you scared? I'm sure it was physically hard (in fact not everyone would be able to accomplish this mission.

Why did you put the ring when your squad was attacked by Nazgûl? Didn't you know that it would not help?

What did you you feel when you were looking in the mirror of Galadriel?

How are you doing now? Do you remember about your trip or wouldyou like to forget about it? What is it “The land of elves “(Harbor)? What are you doing right now? Are you happy?

Maybe you are right, but I think that now my life is not so interesting, that I want. (mystical things nothing to do with, I just want to live to be able to show what I can, and now there is no reason for this ...)

It was difficult to choose precisely what character of the book I want to address the letter)
I decided to write to Frodo because at first, he is the main hero of the book and we know a lot about him, and secondly because the other characters seemed stronger and older than him (though Frodo was seemingly an adult)
(Gandalf is also quite interesting and well-known character, but I didn't know what questions I would like to ask him)
And, as I said before, because no one expected that a little hobbit could perform such complicated, difficult and important mission
