Have you ever heard of the surname Khazipov? It’s me. My name is Yegor, which means a person, working on the land. I am in the 11th form, though I am only 16. My classmates are mostly 18. When I was a child, my desire to go to school was great, that’s why I started schooling at the age of 6. You must have heard of Khanty-Mansi region in Russia. And there is a tiny, but the most beautiful town of Nizhevartovsk, Dzerzhinsky street, 19V.
Of course, I can’t compare myself with Michael Jackson, but I am a great dancer as well. I participate in different kinds of contests: school, regional, etc. Dancing helps me to express myself, my attitude to the world around. I also like travelling and taking pictures. I have great impressions of the places which had visited. I often look through the pictures, recollect events and people. I am very emotional and miss those places and want to visit them again. The same thing happened to me after having visited the USA this summer. After seeing the most beautiful sights – The Golden Gate in San-Francisco, the Californian park – Redwoods, the Pacific ocean I loved this country very much. The idea of studying English thoroughly came to my mind. Since then I constantly have the desire to learn more about the country, its customs, traditions, history and people. Participating in this contest I hope my dreams come true.

Here is the timetable of our contest.


15 сентября «Знакомство». Представьте себя творчески на форуме нашего конкурса.

15-17 сентября (I этап конкурса) – Тема «КАК ВЫБРАТЬ АДРЕСАТА?». Задание № 1 «Герой моего письма». Участники на форуме представляют в творческой форме того, кому они будут писать письмо.

18-20 сентября (II этап конкурса) – Тема «С ЧЕГО НАЧИНАЕТСЯ ПИСЬМО?». Задание № 2 «Я ВАМ ПИШУ…». Участники пишут первый вариант своего письма. Работы участников публикуются на форуме.

21-24 сентября (III этап конкурса) – Тема «А У МЕНЯ ВОТ ТАК». Задание № 3 «ВСТРЕТИМСЯ НА ФОРУМЕ». Участники знакомятся с письмами других участников проекта и принимают участие в их обсуждении на форуме.

25-27 сентября (IV этап конкурса) – Тема «ТОЧКА, ТОЧКА, ЗАПЯТАЯ». Задание № 4 «ОФОРМЛЕНИЕ И ДИЗАЙН ПИСЬМА». Участники творчески оформляют свое письмо и отсылают его письма выбранным корреспондентам и ведущему конкурса. Участники конкурса также высылают ведущему конкурса свои рефлексии.

28 сентября – Подведение итогов. Призеры конкурса получают подарки и грамоты, участникам высылается рейтинг.

My name is Rita. I am 15.I am keen on volleyball. From my point of view sport is life. I am a very active girl, so I can compare myself with explosion because nobody knows when and where it will happened, and how tones of different ideas and emotions will be used.
There is one global idea that can tell about me. I want to change the world. Maybe it sounds bonal, but it is true. I want to make people always smiling? Enjoying every moment of life. Besides people shouldn`t be obsessed about money and appreciate more valuable things such as love, friendship, family.
Why I participate in this competition? I don`t really know. I think it is useful, because I can practice my English; it is very interesting as well.
I expect to get new emotions, meet new friends in this competition. I am looking forward to socialize with foreigner of my age, because it is very interesting for me to communicate with person with other culture, other thoughts.

Hi, my name is Kate. I am from Russia. Sayanogorsk is my home town. It is situated in Siberia. Saynogorsk is a beautiful place. It has very rich nature.
As for me I am creative, curious, cheerful and amiable. Also I like to communicate with different people, especially with persons of the same age.
I think that a proverb “A sound mind in a sound body” can characterize me, because I am very sport girl. I take a great interest to different kind of sports. For example: snowboarding, ski, swimming, rollers. And I like to go for a walk with my friends.
I can equal me with the Discovery channel, because this program tells us about that I am interested in and carry away. Thanks to this channel I can appear in any place of the world. Discovery channel is rather informative. For example it tells people about different nationalities their traditions, cultures, life style and also about mountaineer, seas. I am interested in such kind of things, too. The most important thing, that unites me with the Discovery is a wish to study world and it’s variety.
I am happy that I take part in this contest. Thanks to this competition I want to develop my creative skills and improve my English. Also I like to communicate with foreign people. With the help of this project I’ll go step by step to perfect English.

Hi kate! I am fond of swimming and shooting. I can't say that I can swimm very well, but I really good at shooting.
And of course I like Discovery chanell very much....though ...I like TOP GEAR more. You are the nice girl and I don't exspect you watching this programm, but who knows?
As for another contests-I liked the project "My school is my castle". It was really exciting and we took the prize (1 place) We are going to take part in this project this year again because we didn't finish our presentation. So It will be continued!

Hello! My name is Tanya. My surname is Travina. I was born on the 25 february 1995 and now I live Norilsk.

Hello! My name is Lena. My surname is Galkina. I was born in Norilsk on the 14th of December 1994 and now I live in Norilsk. Norilsk is my native town. It is situated in Siberia. Our place is very beautiful.
As for me I am a creative, curious, cheerful and purposeful person. I think that a proverb “reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body” can characterize me, because I am very sporty girl. I take a great interest to different kinds of sport. For example: rock-climbing, ski, swimming, rollers. And I like to go for works with my friends. I also like travelling and taking pictures. I have great impressions of the places which I had visited. I often look over the pictures, recollect events and remember people and events. I like reading books and listening to different kinds of music. I like to watch on TV Discovery channel because it is rather informative. For example it tells people about different nations and their traditions, cultures, life style. I am interested in such kinds of thing, too. The most important thing that unites me with Discovery channel is the wish to study world and its variety. I like life and all its displays. I want everybody to be happy!

A long time ago (17 years ago) in a galaxy far, far away…I… was born…(cackling)
Well, in fact I meant Nizhnevartovsk – small city in Siberia:) My parents decided to call me Vakulyuk Yulia and they thought it would be awesome. At the moment I’m in the 11th year of school №18. I’m keen on cinema, literature and English. I've been studying English for about 5 years and I've got 2 certificates. (PET and FCE) I enjoy taking part in English language championships and of course I don’t mind winning them! Anyway, the taking part in this competition is an initiative of my foreign friends. They told me it would help me to improve my English skills.
I hope I'll get some experiense to become a translater...

My name’s Sennikova Anastasia and I’m 11 years old. I’m in 5а form. What things, minds and ideas can tell you about me? May be, souvenir balls, diplomas, medals from volleyball championships, postcards of different towns and cities where these competitions took place, my sport uniform, my own poems in English and of course, the album of photos of my real friends who wrote many warm and trusting words about me.
Why do I take part in this competition? Because I have been liked English very much for a long time. I have already taken part in other English championships. In my family my mother and father know English and use it in their work and we try to speak English with each other at home. English is my passion.

My name is Tezikova Svetlana. I'm 17 years old and am a student of grade 11. I live in a small town called Ershov.
If you compare me with something I can associate with a small planet in the vast world of English language.
So, what I can tell you about myself? I’m of a middle height and rather slim. My hair is dark, short and straight. I have green eyes. Many people say I look like my mother. I can see my character is cheerful in general. I’m a happy and an optimistic person. I think my main shortcoming is that I’m hot-tempered sometimes, but this normally doesn’t affect my relations with people. As for my preferences, I like watching good films, reading detective and love stories. As for sport I’m not very fond of it. I do all job about the house. I’d like our home to be clean and tidy. I enjoy being at home. As proverb says: "East or West, home is best”. And I’m sure that there is no place like home and there are no people dearer than your relatives.

So I am usual Risssian teen. I dream and compose, study and delve, hate and love, seek and find, participate and win (sometimes) I can be calm and serious, kind and cruel, fiery and culled. I am trying to get fundamental knowledge, in order to stand on my own feet in society. I can’t say that I have a great desire to win and to be the best. But I want to meet new friends here, especially foreign friends. Though it will be great to begin a new project among two classes from different towns, for example, we are interested in Siberia very much. Who can propose such a project? We could do it even without our teachers. More than that-we can think over a competition for our teachers!!! It will be cool

I like this saying too, because sometimes people do not completely realize the things they did wrong! And then try to justify itself and their mistakes, so they choose the wrong way of escaping from this situation.
