“I’m fond of English”
Some advice from Tatiana Plechko,
a teacher of school number 5,
town Muravlenko.

Since my childhood I have been fond of English. Though my birthday was able to predict my future career. (1st September)
But the fact is I’ve already been a teacher of English for 25 years. I’m very happy that it is a curious and intelligent subject. Besides English is the most needed nowadays because of all modern people consider it is incredible opportunity to communicate with the people all over the world.
That’s why I’d like to give some advice for students, may be their parents. And of course I’ll be very glad if you find it useful.
- First of all you should understand for what you want learning English.
- After your decision you should be ambitious and have a lot of patience of reaching your purpose.
- In this case you should throw away your laziness, impatience, jealous and prejudice.
- Then you should to prepare a cocktail of some ingredients such as: diligence, purposefulness, willpower, imagination and drink with a lot of pleasure.

From my professional experience it helped me to reach some results:
1 Twice I was a leader of student’s group which had English course in Malta Lingual school.
2 My students have chosen professions which connect with English. Among them are lowers of international law, teachers of English, a diplomat, interpreters of oil company, office managers of gas company and so on.
3 I was a winner of competition “The best teachers of Russia” of national project “Education”, 2008.
4 I was rewarded by order “Honorable worker of general education”, 2010.

Finally, I wish all participants of our competition to be healthy, wealthy and happy all your life. May your students bring you only satisfaction and joy!

I pronounced my first English word when I was a pupil of the 5th Form. My teacher made me love English very much. She influenced me greatly, because she was an educated and well rounded person. She also looked like a woman from abroad. Her English was perfect. Since that I am fond of English. Later I graduated the Pedagogical Institute and became a teacher. I’ve been working for more than 30 years. Hope, I’m rather successful teacher. Lots of my pupils choose the professions connected with English language.
Besides, I know German. I’m sure learning languages stretches our mind and it is a good exercise for our intellect. It expands our horizons, for example, it gives us a chance to communicate with people from other countries, to understand another culture, to read English literature in original. Travelling abroad you are on firm ground if you know English.
Now I’d like to advice learners of English some rules which I follow myself.
1. Work hard to achieve success.
2. Practice regularly: 20-30 minutes every day ( better in the morning).
3. Have no doubt about your abilities. There aren’t people unable to learn foreign languages.
4. Remember: he, who does nothing – doesn’t do mistakes.
5. Listen to English speech every day.
6. Learn phrases, not separate words.
7. Learn rhymes, limericks, poems by heart.
8. Sing English songs.

Wir haben eine Deutsche (Fremdsprachen), erfolgt zweimal pro Woche.
Ich denke, dass die beiden Klassen nicht ausreichend ist.
Wir stehen auf dem Programm arbeiten: zwei Stunden pro Woche, und wir führen ein Lehrbuch, Arbeitsbuch, lieber Leser, Notebook. Und die Arbeit mit allen auf einmal.
Über zwei Hasen mehr als eine Jagd ist nicht das Wort (с).
Ich denke so:
1. Lektionen pro Woche müssen mindestens drei sein.
2. Die Schüler müssen im Unterricht interessieren. Ich habe dir gesagt, ob dies der schwierigste und langweiliges Thema, kann es sehr einfach erklärt und verständlich macht, wie, was einige der Organisation von Vorträgen. Die Studenten werden in allen möglichen verschiedenen Bildern, wie z. B., wie ein Puzzle für ein neues Thema und einen Preis zu Beispiel 2 Fünf Studenten sofort beginnen, um zuzuhören, sich aktiv zu interessieren.
3. Machen Sie es über dieses Programm:
In Woche drei Lektionen:
1 Lektion - die Arbeit mit Lehrbüchern, studieren, ein neues Thema, ein Wort, und so weiter.
2 Lektion - Die kreative Arbeit wie Zuweisungen für Wirtschaftsprüfung (lustig und interessant), bringen die Schüler verschiedene Fotos opisyvat ihnen, und so weiter.
3 Lektion - RSTT mit dem Text durch den Text seiner Schüler zu übersetzen und beantworten Fragen zu dem Text der Arbeit gegeben.
Insgesamt: 1 Woche, wir erfolgreich durchlaufen das Thema, die Studenten etwas zu tun starayutsya sich zuzüglich der Arbeit am Ende des Textes, der nicht wichtig genug, um eine Fremdsprache zu erlernen.

Some advices to a colleague who is just a beginner:

- be sure in the aim of your learning English!
- remember: no day without English – speak, read, listen to foreign speech and
practice Vocabulary and Grammar every day!
- try to make your students feel interest to your lessons and don’t be afraid of experiments!
- don’t forget: each lesson should have the highlight!
- while teaching never forget to control the level of your students’ knowledge (the more good results the better is your way of teaching)!
- being ready for the lesson you should always have 2 or 3 extra tasks for capable students or for the case when some minutes are left at the lesson!
- keep discipline at the lesson, be persistent but don’t overdo it (the students mustn’t be afraid of you)!
- be tolerant and sure in your actions; be a role model but not a monster for the
students!
- if somebody needs your help be always ready for it!
- try to give home task not after or during the bell – the students will never hear
you!
- love your job and you will soon make a progress!

Once upon a time I was an ordinary student in an ordinary school. But I was lucky to meet a very interested person there. That was my first English teacher. I had never seen such a perfect and intelligent woman before. I admired everything about her: the way she moved, the way she spoke, the way she dressed and looked like. My teacher was mad about her work – she loved the school and the pupils that were her second family. And how she taught English! All the students adored the subject. Every summer she took us on different excursions. Thanks to her we visited many republics and even had a rest at the Black Sea. No wonder, why so many school graduates became teachers after school, and some of them also taught English.
That was one of the reasons why I became a teacher and had a chance to begin under her supervising in one and the same school. The other reason was that both of my parents were teachers, too. By the way, all my father’s brothers chose a profession of a teacher. Since childhood I knew how difficult it was for them to work at school. There was no computer at that time, the only source of information was library and books. That’s why it took much time for them to prepare for the lessons. But they loved their job, they were fans of it, and maybe that also influenced on my future choice. As for me, I never doubted what I would be.
To be a teacher and to be a very good teacher is not the same. You may come to school every day only to conduct the lessons and then go home. You will get tired of this soon. But if you feel comfort of what you do, if pupils trust you and need your help, if you constantly look for something new and try to be modern, be sure – your career at school will be successful! You are the torch of the knowledge, you are the role model, you are lucky!
As a teacher I worked in different schools. I wasn’t afraid of experimenting with the methods of teaching English and did it always qualitatively. The results were often excellent: the students passed the exams very well, won at the different contests and olympiads, and chose the professions connected with foreign languages. For a example, one of my students is a teacher of English, the other one works as a guide; one former student became a linguist and works abroad.
I think, my profession is the best at school because it opens a lot of opportunities for me and my pupils. We travel together abroad and practice our English, we take part in contests and have good results.
Never be sorry, make yourself become perfect and more experienced! Good luck!

To improve your English you should read books in English in the original. It is useful to watch movies, broadcasts in English to learn to perceive the English language by listening. It will be very good if you will communicate in internet with English-speaking people. Try to speak English with your friends. Living in the linguistic environment guarantees fast learning English, so it would be great if you could live in some English-speaking country for several months.

When I studied at school I was very fond of English. I think that my English teachers imparted me the love of English. They managed to interest and attract attention to their subject. Although in those days books were not so colourful and interesting as now, there was no information technologies. After graduating from the university, at the Faculty of English Studies, I returned to my home school and now I’m working there as a teacher of English with the teachers who taught me. I am very grateful to them for help, kindness and participation. Now I try to inculcate love for the English in my pupils, they take part in various contests and olympiads.

Hello, I think that for the qualitative learning of the English language everybody should follow some instructions. Maybe my ones will be useful.

I think that if you will try – you will get a lot of successes. You must take several books in the library, sit, and read much in English. Read every day. As for me, I have done so. But it is not enough.
One more way to learn English. First you must try, try and try and then you would better snack,after that take your favorite pen and try again.

English is very important part of life everyone. You know English is the world language.
I like to study English. There are many opportunities to study English now. You can read books, watch films on English language, listen to audio lessons, speak on English, study in courses.
I want to be an engineer in future. I’ll have to visit foreign countries and to work there. So speaking is the most important for me. Of course, grammar is important too. But I can learn grammar myself. There are a lot of students’ books and workbooks for studying grammar.
But speaking is more difficult for studying than grammar. You need someone who helps you and speaks with you.
I know a very good way to learn to speak English. You can communicate with foreign people using the internet. For instance, Skype or other programs and websites for video communication. Also you can visit discuss club, when you can speak with other students and native speakers. In my opinion, it’s very good method tj improve your English.
