Hi, my name is Kate. I am from Russia. Sayanogorsk is my home town. It is situated in Siberia. Saynogorsk is a beautiful place. It has very rich nature.
As for me I am creative, curious, cheerful and amiable. Also I like to communicate with different people, especially with persons of the same age.
I think that a proverb “A sound mind in a sound body” can characterize me, because I am very sport girl. I take a great interest to different kind of sports. For example: snowboarding, ski, swimming, rollers. And I like to go for a walk with my friends.
I can equal me with the Discovery channel, because this program tells us about that I am interested in and carry away. Thanks to this channel I can appear in any place of the world. Discovery channel is rather informative. For example it tells people about different nationalities their traditions, cultures, life style and also about mountaineer, seas. I am interested in such kind of things, too. The most important thing, that unites me with the Discovery is a wish to study world and it’s variety.
I am happy that I take part in this contest. Thanks to this competition I want to develop my creative skills and improve my English. Also I like to communicate with foreign people. With the help of this project I’ll go step by step to perfect English.

Hi kate! I am fond of swimming and shooting. I can't say that I can swimm very well, but I really good at shooting.
And of course I like Discovery chanell very much....though ...I like TOP GEAR more. You are the nice girl and I don't exspect you watching this programm, but who knows?
As for another contests-I liked the project "My school is my castle". It was really exciting and we took the prize (1 place) We are going to take part in this project this year again because we didn't finish our presentation. So It will be continued!

Hello! My name is Tanya. My surname is Travina. I was born on the 25 february 1995 and now I live Norilsk.
I like to play basketball! It is my favorite sports.
I like to paint to. I go to the art school.

I now to will tell about Norilsk.

Norilsk is a large town. It is situated on the 69 parallel in the zone of perma frost in Taimyr tundra. Norilsk was founded by a group of geologists with professor Urvantsev at the head. The town of Norilsk has been built on Taimyr in Soviet times.
People call it the pearl of Arctic. The population of Norilsk is more than 200 thousand citizens. Norilsk is the industrial, cultural and scientific centre of the Arctic. It is the town of miners, metallurgists, builders, power speciallists and transport workers. There are many factories, quarries and iron mines in Norilsk. The output of the Norilsk Mining Company is well known far beyond the borders of our country all over the world. It is famous for non-ferrous metallurgy. Such metals as cop-per, nickel, cobalt are produced in the town of Norilsk.
Norilsk, built in record time, has many blocks of modern buildings. Buildings are erected on piles, 1 m above the permafrost layer. There are many schools, libraries, hospitals and shops.
Norilsk is also famous for its drama theatre. The houses have all modern convenienses.
People say that Norilsk is St.Petersburg in miniature.
The Palace of Culture, swimming-pool, the Arctica sport palace, beautiful squares attract people’s attention.
The residents of Norilsk are nature lovers. They have built many recreation areas. They are situated not far fron Norilsk in the hills and people often go out of town to have rest there.There are a lot of beautiful lakes not far from Norilsk. They are Lama, Glubokoye, Melkoye and others.
Skiing, foot-ball are very popular in our town. Taimyr is called the land of surprises and it is true. Norilsk is the pearl of this land and I am proud of the town and of the people that work and live in it.

A long time ago (17 years ago) in a galaxy far, far away…I… was born…(cackling)
Well, in fact I meant Nizhnevartovsk – small city in Siberia:) My parents decided to call me Vakulyuk Yulia and they thought it would be awesome. At the moment I’m in the 11th year of school №18. I’m keen on cinema, literature and English. I've been studying English for about 5 years and I've got 2 certificates. (PET and FCE) I enjoy taking part in English language championships and of course I don’t mind winning them! Anyway, the taking part in this competition is an initiative of my foreign friends. They told me it would help me to improve my English skills.
I hope I'll get some experiense to become a translater...

World of my ideas and dreams
My name’s Sennikova Anastasia and I’m 11 years old. I’m in 5а form. I can compare myself with Lady Gaga, I am just brave as she is, active, curious, I like to be I like to be in the centre of attention, make new friends, I’m not afraid to take challenge. Also I’m very active. Just like Lady Gaga I love to give people positive emotions. I do calisthenics and I want to become a journalist.
