This is my card.I made my card out of cardboard and cloth. I drew with a
gel pen and watercolour. I think that my card is the best! I want to see

We really liked your card. It is cheerful, bright and funny. Elena Ivanovna, my postcard is individual, because I have made it with love for my darling girlfriend Polina. It is an absolutely handmade, so it was created from the middle of my soul and my heart. I think that the British and Russian write and create postcards very often, when congratulate with many different holidays, for example, Birthday, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother's or father's day and in many other cases. I would like to say that my card is special. I want to congratulate my girlfriend
with World Animal Day. It is celebrated each year on October the 4th. On this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned on locations all over the globe. The 4th of October was originally chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment. Polina take part in Greenpeace many years. It is very important holiday for her. You can see bright hearts, a beautiful girl with a dog in the centre of the picture. It is a very good and kind composition, the girl with a dog, sweet kiss, so nice and pretty!!! I am sure that my card is the best, because it is an excellent, unusual, unique one!!! Basset-haund symbolizes kindness, care and love.

These eyes are so sad… Help and save me, dear friend!

Hello, everyone,
We would like to introduce the team of 4 people: we are Yara, Sveta, Julia, Marina.
We all live in the city of Perm, and learn in lyceum № 5. The three of us learn in class 8B, and one - in the parallel class. We have called our team «Matreshka-dolls», because we are beautiful Russian girls from Perm. We are all united by love to paint and we often produce great wall papers on different topics for our class. Every year, each of us makes a smart card in the English language devoted to Christmas.
It's become a tradition of our lyceum. Sveta, for example, won the first prize in this wonderful competition last year. If the pupils of the 5th and 6th grades did only postcards, then students of the 7-8 classes recited poems dedicated to winter and winter holidays on the English language. In addition, we do not only learn poems in English, but also translate them into Russian, and do it all in verse, showing our potential as poets and translators. Also, we “cipher” our poems as illustrations our listeners to be able to see our visual poems.
We decided to take part in this competition, because it is a new and unusual project for us, which intertwines two subjects: Art and English. We have not participated in the competitions on the Russian level yet. It is interesting; will we be able to cope with our work?

We have set three goals. First, we want to try our skills in English. Second, we’d like to take the prize in this competition, and, thirdly, we wish to meet new interesting people with whom we could talk after the competition.

We have three questions to other participants:

1) How long did you think, how to name your team?

2) What is your favourite subject in painting?

3) What do you do in your spare time?

Всем привет. Мы бы хотели представить свою команду из 4 человек: мы- это Яра, Света, Юля, Марина.
Все мы живем в городе Перми, учимся в лицее №5, 3 из нас учатся в 8б классе, а одна в параллельном классе. Свою команду мы назвали «Matreshka-dolls». Потому что мы красивые русские девчонки из Перми. Всех нас объединило то, что мы очень любим рисовать. И часто выпускаем классные газеты на разные темы. Ежегодно каждый из нас делает шикарные открытки на английском языке посвященные Рождеству. Это стало традицией нашего лицея. Света, например, в прошлом году заняла первое место в этом замечательном конкурсе. Если в 5 и 6 классах мы делали только открытки, то в 7-8х классах рассказывают стихи, посвященные зиме и зимним праздникам на английском языке. Кроме того, мы не только учим стихи на английском, но и ещё переводим их на русский язык и делаем всё это в стихотворной форме, проявляя при этом свой потенциал в качестве поэта- переводчика. Кроме того, мы своё стихотворение «зашифровываем в виде иллюстрации, что бы наши слушатели могли увидеть наш стих визуально. Мы решили учувствовать в этом конкурсе потому что, для нас это новый, необычный проект, где переплетаться два предмета: искусство и английский язык в российских конкурсах мы ещё не участвовали ни разу. Интересно, у нас это получится?
Мы поставили три цели. Во-первых, попробовать свои знания в английском языке. Во-вторых, попытаться занять призовое место в этом конкурсе, и в-третьих, мы бы хотели познакомиться с новыми интересными людьми, с которыми можно было бы общаться и вне конкурса.
Мы бы хотели задать другим участниками конкурса три вопроса:
1)Долго ли вы думали, как назвать вашу команду?
2)Какая ваша любимая тема в рисовании?
3)Чем занимаетесь в свободное время?
