I like dance. Rhythm brings into my life, vibrant colors.

My congratulation with the begining of the contest!
Here is the timetable of the project

13 октября. Задание № 1 «Визитная карточка». Участники знакомятся друг с другом на форуме конкурса, рассказывая о себе в интересной форме.

14-15 октября. Задание № 2 «Школьные годы чудесные». Участники составляют свое представление о том, что для него значит школа, делятся своими размышлениями на форуме конкурса.

16-17 октября. Задание № 3 «Встретимся на форуме» Участники обсуждают на форуме мнения конкурсантов о школе, ее роли в их жизни.

18-20 октября. Задание № 4 «Самая лучшая школа в стране». Участники определяют содержание своей презентации о школе, составляют ее план и обсуждают на форуме проект своей презентации.

21-23 октября. Задание № 5 «Я - эксперт». Участники выступают в роли экспертов и оценивают работы других участников, выполненных в предыдущем задании.

24-25 октября. Задание № 6 «Оформление и дизайн презентации». Участники оформляют свою презентацию и высылают ее в жюри конкурса.

26 октября. Задание № 7 «Рефлексия участников». Участники делятся своими мнениями о конкурсе.

27 октября. Подведение итогов конкурса. Призеры конкурса получают грамоты, участникам высылается рейтинг.

Don' be nervous It's not so scared as you think. Our team took part in the contest of the center Eidos many times and it was great! Our first contest was My school is my castle 2 years ago and we took the first place
Also we took part in the contest two times (1 and 2 place), My Happy Christmas enc. We hope to meet you on the next contest:)

It's very pleasant to see that you are interested to know more about our place!
Ust-Pristan is located in the central part of Altai Krai. It is surrounded by many lakes and woods, which are the home for many different kinds of birds and animals. Here you can meet squirrels, hares, foxes, wolves; the main species of birds in the woods are heath-cock and wood-grouse. The rivers Ob and Charysh around Ust-Pristan, as well as numerous lakes of the region are rich with different kinds of fishes. People lived here even before Christ, but the settling of our time dates back to 1773.The first settlers were attracted by the high bank of the river Ob, rich vegetation, and good climate.Gradually a little village became a big populated settlement. In the beginning of the 20th century Ust-Pristan was famous for its fairs and factories which produced and sold many kinds of different goods, for example spare parts for agricultural machines, pottery, valenki, hardware (here was made a cannon which is now in the Central Museum of the Russian Army in Moscow) and all kinds of food: cheese, butter, honey, meat, flour and so on. Ust-Pristan has lived through different times, and we hope its best time is atill ahead...

You story about UST-PRISTAN is very poetic, We see you are proud of your place-and it is great! Nowedays it is rare when people are proud of their place ( we think so) Everybody wants to go to Moscow and other big cities.
We have never been to Altai Krai, thank you for your story. As we see your settlement is not very big, but how many schools are there in youe place? And how many pupils are there in your school?

You answered some of our questions before we asked them. Thanks. Our place at the beginning of the last century had about 20 thousand inhabitants. Now there are less people - about 7 thousand. And we have only one school here with about half a thousand students. SO...our school has to be THE BEST!!!

“МИР НАШИХ ИДЕЙ”

1. Team “Ust-Pristan”
Natasha Grinevich, 14 years old, 8th form
Katya Ikhtonova, 14 years old, 8th form

Ust-Pristan secondary school after the Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Mefodyevich Ptukhin

Our school address: 31, Pervomaiskaya st., Ust’-Pristan’, Altai Krai, Russian Federation, 659580

2. We are a group of two inseparable girlfriends. We have been friends since early childhood, and we are close like coffee and milk – these two substances are very common and popular, but together they can be even more tasty…

3. We live in a small town in the centre of Altai region, named Ust’-Charyshskaya Pristan’ (it is situated in the mouth of the river Charysh), and we think our town ( or big village) is one of the best places on Earth. We are both fond of English and we take part in different competitions in English. Once we even wrote a poem about our town (acrostic):
Ust-Pristan is really a wonderful place
Situated on Earth, the best planet in space.
Trees and flowers, rivers and the bluest sky –
Paradise for birds, that can freely fly.
Rather than for people, who are so lazy,
Idle and grumbling, and cruel, and crazy.
So much we can do, so let us try
To improve our life, -there’s no need to cry!
And the thing that we can for sure say-
Now we ought to choose the right way…


4. Our goal here is to tell all the participants about our school and our place, because they really deserve it, and learn more about other places, other schools and other people from different corners of our vast country.
5. We hope that our love for our place, our pride of our school will be appreciated, and we are sure to make new friends and to achieve new successes in mastering English.

Hello everybody!
We (Alena and Sveta) are team from 9 schools in kaluga. We study in 11 class. In this school year we will finish our school. YEAH!!! But then we have to study harder. We think it is not necessary to tell you about our wonderful town, because we are so bored you with its rich history. We took part in different competition in this site.
Our team is called the "Hedgehog in the Fog". Alena is «Hedgehog» Sveta is « Fog»… and it's also funny cartoon! Funny because it's very strange. So… in fact we do not know what the program we will have. But we will to try do it more interesting and original. Our goal is not victory, but participation! But if we’ll win we’ll celebrate it a week…or year…or all our life…

Hello everybody!
We (Alena and Sveta ) are the team from Grammar School in Kaluga. We study in 11 class. This school year we will finish our school. YEAH!!! But then we have to study harder. I think it is not necessary to tell you about our wonderful town, because we don’t want to bore you with its rich history. We took part in different competition of this centre.

Well, I think, school really plays an important role in our life. You may like it or you may not but we spend so much time at school that it becomes our second home.
School is not only a place of education; it is a place where we make friends and meet friends. At school we can enjoy different activities like arranging parties and concerts and show our talents. But the main thing is certainly education.
Some pupils like school. They like studying because they are doing well in most subjects and they are going to continue their education after school, get higher education. But for those who are not successful in schooling and who are always pressed by their parents and teachers school becomes boring and not interesting. I don't understand such people. I like studying. It is so interesting to learn something new every day, even if sometimes you get bad marks and it spoils your mood very much...Perhaps it would be better to study without any marks, just for knowledge... What do you think about it?

Well, I like studying, because when you learn new things it helps you change to the better I think...
I don't have very special talents... but I like dancing, I can sing, I can do things like knitting and sewing...
Oh, breaks are like " a ray of light in the darkness", sometimes they can be even more important than lessons... During the breaks we prepare for the next lessons(very rarely), share the most important news(if we can't do it at the lesson),tell each other funny stories and watch how our classmates play jokes on each other
