Quite a few people of our town socialize in forums and chats. Why do we all like Internet so much?
Usually we exchange our views on films, books, drug abuse or something like that. I want to share my opinion of forums and chats themselves. They are surely a great opportunity to speak one’s own mind without a nasty feeling that someone may make fun of you. But are forums worth it? Surely after reading a story of some guy who used to be a drug addict, and now wants to share his said experience with evybody by way of warning, may make me more alert in this respect. But not all points of view in forums are positive, because all kinds of people, - smart and dumb, noble and mean, - may use forum as their tribune. Even the silliest person strives to carry his message through, and sometimes he may be quite persuasive.
Germans say in such cases: “So viele Meinungen, wie Menshen”, - “As many people, as many opinions”. And I am afraid this is just the case with forums.
Moreover, people very often become dependant on Internet. This is quite often a refined variety of a drug. They prefer communicating via Internet even with those people who are close to them.
Let us think about it: do we always need to discuss our problems in forums, or we can simply get together with our friends and chat with them face to face? Because discussing things, in my opinion, is mainly not exchanging arguments. It’s feeling the atmosphere, the aura of the people whose opinion is dear to you.

Greetings. You know, in many respects you are really right. The Internet may become a drug and it is very easy. The simple campaign in a chat may bring up in such attachment, that it is extreme difficult to get rid of it. I know.. The matter is that I got rid of such dependence. It was intolerable hardly. For this reason I now do not allow me to sit in chats, never try to smoke and accept drugs. Actually it is the same and I know , how it is hard to struggle with it.
But on the other hand, if the person absolutely does not have friends, he is not sociable, here may find a a lot of friends.
