1. My name is Roman Roy, I am 16 years old. I study in the 10th grade at a secondary school №31 in Nizhnevartovsk.

2. I can’t compare myself with something or somebody exactly. It’s so hard to find someone in the world, who is like me, who has such extraordinary interests, the same type of mind, habits and traits of character. I believe that every person is unique.

3. I guess that when people think about me, they imagine different, contrast things: someone associates me with a clever boy with glasses and many science books in a bag, because he or she knows that I am a very good student (but this is only a stereotype, I don’t have such type of appearance); the other might think about me as an ugly, strong-built, hairy rocker, because I am fond of heavy metal music; I have been doing acrobatics for 3 years and I have been visiting a town’s swimming pool for 7 years, that’s why a group of people could compare me with a slender athlete. But in my mind, I have all these stereotypes mixed-up in me.

4. The major reasons of my taking part in this competition are my desire to improve my English skills, to chat with other teenagers, get new information from them and share my experience.

5. I expect to find new friends, know something new and have fun here.

Hi, people of Russia! I told you in my card that I love Football, are you remember it? And hero of my letter will be famous football player Wayne Rooney! He is England's youngest player. His full name is Wayne Mark Rooney. Hi was born 24 October 1985. He is only 23 years old! Wayne’s Place of birth Croxteth, Liverpool, England. He have very funny nickname: Wezza and Shrek=) Rooney became the youngest player to play for England when he earned his first cap in a friendly against Australia on 12 February 2003 at seventeen, the same age in which he also became the youngest player to score an England goal.
I love play football, I like to visit trainings, I like to run with the ball, I like to hammer in goals! I would like to visit match, where Rooney play. I know that he play football wonderful! I would like to know something about his training. Which training exercise is the most favourite for him?
I want to ask for him, what does he think about Female football? And how does he think, can women play football such excellent as great football players like Pele, Backham, Ronaldo? I want that he has lead even one training in my school team! I will very glad to see him!!!

Hello, as I said I want to communicate with foreign pen pals. And I want to tell you who he should be. First of all he is supposed to live abroad of my country. The most of all what I like in people is hardworking. I hate when people are lazy, because it`s annoying when you want to do smth he says: «Oh I don`t want it, or it`s too difficult for me ». It`s better for him to be optimistic and has a great sense of humor.
Maybe he can be a computer fan I support it, because I’m computer fan, too. I enjoy gathering the information about game industry. Especially I`m fond of Internet, and of course to chat. I like rap music and sometimes I write songs. My favorite singer is Marshall Mathers aka “Eminem”. My friends tell me that I look like Marshall. I believe them. I am the biggest fan of rap music. I have all the Eminem’s albums! My favorite songs are:”Like toy soldiers”, “Lose yourself”, “Patiently waiting” and “Sing for the moment”. For me Slim Shady is the best rapper in the world. My dream is to speak with him alive or by letter.
My favorite school subjects are English, Physics, Chemistry and Algebra.
When I have free time I go to the swimming pool. I have the 1st youth grade. Soon I will study playing the guitar. I have big plans for a future. After English I will learn German.
Ulan-Ude is situated on the river Uda. Our city is the capital of Buryat republic. Our republic is famous for Ivolginskiy Datsan and we live not far from the deepest lake in the world-lake Baikal.
My grand-grandfather was a famous Buryat painter, writer and journalist. His name was Philipp Ilich Baldaev. I am pound of him. I can draw well too. I think that I am a grand-grandfather’s heir.
I decided to take part in the project because I have already taken part in the Olympiad in January and I got the 11th place in Russia and became Lauriat. That’s why I was looking forward such kind of competition and I think that I’ll enjoy discussing ideas, thoughts of teenagers from Russia and learn a lot about my new future friends.

Hello, my name is Ann. I am fourteen years old. I live in Kaliningrad. It is very ancient and wonderful town. There are many beautiful sights: old castles, monuments, churches, nice squares, fountains and parks.
I study in gymnasia number 32, in 8 «L» grade. I like this school because I can get good education owing to my teachers. They are intelligent and creative people, who appraise our knowledge fair. Our class is friendly and joyful. I have many friends in it. We can rely on each other. I help and support them in any difficult situations. My favourite subjects are English and chemistry.
Either I like traveling around the world. Last year my family was in Ukraine. I met my cousin and we went to the Black sea. Lovely weather, fresh air, sunshine, waves… it was so amazing and great!!! I will never forget this trip!
Also I like drawing, skating, but my the most main liking is music. When I was seven, I started play the guitar. I took part in different contests and afterwards became the laureate of international contests. Recently I had finished musical school with red diploma. And now I am going to musical college. Last year he was my teacher of English at the school of English language “CET”. Moreover, Javier is one of my best friends, though he is much older than me. We’ve never had conflicts or disagreements. I respect him as well, as he respects me.

Hello! My name is Christina Tkach. I’m thirteen. I live in Kaliningrad. It’s a very nice town.
I’m in the 8th form of gymnasium № 32. I like studing foreign languages. And my favourite foreign language is English. Now people can’t leave without English proficiency. And as for me I want to be an international journalist in future. So I have to know English very well. It’s very important for me. I get a real pleasure when I study it. But I also study German at school. And I would like to study French and Swedish.
As for my hobbies I like dancing. I go to a special dance school. And I’ve been dancing sport ballroom dances professionally for nine years. I also like drawing. And I should say that I’m really fond of music. I feel relaxed and my mood changes for the better after listening to my favourite compositions.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Masha. I am 15. I study at school №29. My address is 27 Dzerzhinskogo Street. I was born in Nizhnevartovsk. Where I am still living.
I can compare myself with the owl because I go to bed at night and wake up in the afternoon. It is a very clever bird and it works only at night. That’s why I like to do my lessons and do everything at night.
Some things are always with me. How do you think, what are they? Guess what? To my mind you guessed. Of course they are: pencils, brushes, paints and paper. I am a person of art. I go to the Art school where I am drawing and learning different styles of culture and painting. As a have already mentioned there are many things on my table at home. These are: albums, erasers and sharpeners. So I like to go for a walk in the forest with my pets and my family. I am fond of to create different composition of my hand. That’s my hobby. I can listen to almost any kind of music, my taste range from classic music to heavy metal. I believe that music should be energetic, that’s why I am fond of Apocalypses.
The first aim that I take part at this competition is communication with my new friends and widen outlook of myself. Participating in such activity can be really fantastic. The second you are making new friends, you became friendly and clever you develop the knowledge of English language. At the same time you discover new world for yourselves.
Nobody knows beforehand the result of the competition. In a way it is very attractive. I hope to catch an owl luck .
