POETICAL TOURNAMENT.

You like poetry and you have what to say to others, don’t you? You are ardent and like the spirit of competition, isn’t it so? Congratulations! You are the very person who should participate in a poetical tournament on the forum of Distant Center of Education “Eidos”. So today we invite you to be one of the participants of a poetical tournament which will be held in the form of discussion.

The theme of the discussion: “You can't write poetry on the computer”. Quentin Tarantino

The terms of the discussion: Post your poem on the theme of discussion on the forum. Besides you should read the poems of other at least 2 participants and express your own opinion, agreement or disagreement with their authors.

I'd like to comment this one,
It really has brought me a lot of fun.
Computer's really made by demons,
They make us stupid, slowly kill us.

You're right, we ought to get some rest.
Although we think that it's the best
thing, the humanity had brought in daily life,
But in a race with clock we only deeper dive
In that great world called Internet
And stays quite even TVset...

And the memory address makes your floppy disk abort,
Then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash,
And the double-clicking icons put your window in the trash,
And your data is corrupted because the index doesn't hash,
The situation then is hopeless, and your system will be crashed!

If the label on your cable on the gable at your house,
Says the network is connected to the button on your mouse,
But your packets want to tunnel to another protocol,
That's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall.

And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss,
So, your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse,
Then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang,
As I’m sure I'm a poet, then the sucker is going to hang!

When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy on the disk,
And the microcode instructions cause unnecessary RISC,
Then you have to flash your memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM,
Quickly turn off your computer being ready to write with your plume!

A man with opened heart and clear thoughts
A man who wants to change who doesn’t stand.
He is a poet, it’s a real role!
He doesn’t follow words that he was said.

And poetry for him is only way
To show troubles of this dirty world
He doesn’t need to write a lot or say
He can tell everything by using only word!

And how can he use computer words!
They are unreal, grey without kindness!
A real poet chooses classic roads
And writes on white and dear sheets of papers!

That is also strange to me.
It speaks either “RAM” or “Gigabytes”
And what can “ROM” then be?

I can’t understand the “Windows”,
As computer informs me there
Is not any “Gem Clip”
On the back of my page,

I don't understand what antivirus is
That exists thanks to deeds wizards do,
Still it’s called defragmenter
Or the scanning disk
And a virus cleaning thing too.

Both computer and I
