as for me I can't live without the Internet. But my relatives, teachers and some friends consider the Internet a harmful thing. where is truth? what is your opinion?

It is really interesting to see those who said that i-net is harmful. They has to be very old. Because all teachers also try to get information for us from I-net. My mum is a teacher of history and she always get info from i-net

Before, we could get information at Libraries, and it was good and it is still good, but it takes more time. But now we can get more information at I-net and it is faster. But i still think that i-net just give a good advice, but u still can get more information in the books.

Kids, yes, you are right, I-net is not harmful. But this makes you to be lazier! you know that you can just write down a key word and it gives you an immidiate opptions. Probably progress is good, but you still need to learn more from books. Read more!!!

Some people can say:"Internet is an evil!", but don`t you think,that internet is a tool of making our life more interesting and productive?I think that nowadays people can`t imagine their life without internet.

Dear nv! As for me, Internet is necessity. I often find some helpful information for school subjects. But you shouldn’t spent too much time sitting in front of the screen, it is very dangerous for your eyes and mind. I heard that dependence on Internet is like narcotism. You should know when to stop. But the choice is after you.

A MOUNTH ago I had been setting in Internet all day long. It was awful. Because I forget about my parents, about my friends and about my studying...But now I sit in Internet only when I need. Maybe all this is because now I have a boyfriend and I have not so much free time...Yes, and it wiil be 2 mounths of our relationship on the 29 of January...

I think that if people learn how to limit time they spend in the Internet, it won't be evil anymore... But it's only a dream... I spend a lot of time in the Net
I can spend almost all the day there if somebody won't interrupt me. Now I understand that I can't live without Internet. I have a lot of on-line friends and some of them became my real friends. There is a lot of information in the Net and I could find what I need in the couple of minutes instead of searching in the books for hours... I write letters to my friends by the e-mail or just use chats and forums... As for me, Internet is the greatest invention of the XX century, but people complicate in this net too easy and could have serious problems with their mind...

The Internet is without doubt one of the most important inventions in history. For me it’s part and parcel of my life. A huge variety of information is available to you, in your home, at any hour of the day and night. You can get not only information, but also fresh music and news from the Net.
E-mail is one more useful aspect. It’s much faster than sending a real letter and much cheaper to give a telegramme.
However there are not few dangerous: you know that lots of companies or organizations make money fraudulently, pulling legs of trustful users.
Viruses are out of questions. Thus, the Net can be even harmful.
Nevertheless I have fallen in love with it and don’t intend to give up surfing it, because of all its pros.

Teachers in my school think that Internet is good. As for me I think that Internet is very useful, necessary thing. It help you when you need at information about sport,amusement,politics and other.

haha..my opinion including 2 things:
1) Internet not evil, because in internet u could see (not porno)/get to know a lot of new things, facts and information about something...
2) Evil lives only in hell...and harmful it`s fastfood
