2. You addressed the queen properly: “Your Majesty”
3. You informed the Reader of the general purpose of your letter
4. BUT! You didn't sign off properly.

REMEMBER If you are a citizen of the United Kingdom, you should end the letter with “I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant”.

I am immensely happy that I сan write this letter. I love poetry since childhood. Poetry often says much more than we can express aloud, doesn’t it?I love the poetry of such classics as Yesenin, Brodsky, Polozkova.

Hear me, hear me, my friend.
I'm very, no, seriously ill.
What's the reason? This pain I do not understand.
As if wind whistles, listen
Over desolate, vacant, still field.
Like a grove, leaves blazing I feel.
And the drink sheds my leaves as I bend

Why i schose this contest. Reflection.

Узнав об этом конкурсе от моей учительницы по английскому языку - Беликиной Елены Викторовны, я заинтересовалась им. Мне нравится изучать английский язык. Знание иностранного языка может пригодится для будущей работы или путешествий в другие страны. Этот конкурс даёт возможность мне общаться с другими ребятами из разных городов и показать мои возможности. Моя мама преподаёт английский язык в начальной школе, а её муж - хочет изучать английский язык, чтобы общаться во время путешествий за границу. Поэтому мы решили участвовать в этом конкурсе всей семьёй. А ещё это позволяет проводить нам больше времени вместе. Благодаря этому конкурсу мы имеем возможность поздравить с Рождеством и Новым Годом Её Величество Королеву Англии Елизавету II. Мы очень надеемся, что она прочитает наше поздравление, и оно ей понравится. А если она ответит на него, мы будем безмерно счастливы! Спасибо, что вы дарите такую возможность.

I love England and its history, and, of course I respect the Queen Victoria, but I was very uncomfortable to know about renaming of the Big Ben. Do you really want to remove the name of one of the most famous people in British history from the memory of the world?
